Pepper Steak Cheddar Noodles
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 lbs. beef
1 small garlic clove, crushed
1/2 cup chopped onion
1-1/2 green peppers, cut in julienne strips
1 can tomatoes (about 1 lb.)
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups wide noodles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
In a skillet, add vegetable oil, garlic and beef. When beef is half cooked, remove from skillet and add onion and green peppers in skillet. When onion and green peppers are half cooked, add the beef, tomatoes, and bouillon cube. Mix together cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Add to meat mixture and cook for 2 minutes. While simmering, cook noodles. When done, toss with cheddar cheese and circle platter. Pour the pepper steak in the center of noodles and serve hot.
