Savory Stuffing

 

Sausage and Sweet Potato stuffing for Poultry or Pork

1/2 lb. sausage

1 onion minced

1/2 cup diced celery

1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning

1/2 tsp. salt

Dash pepper

2-1/2 cups soft stale bread cubes

2 cups mashed, cooked, sweet potatoes

Cook sausage until half done, breaking up meat with fork. Add next 5 ingredients and cook, stirring until sausage is cooked. Add bread and potatoes and mix well. Use as stuffing for poultry and pork. Makes 4 cups.
