Yam Mochi

 

1 22 oz. can yam

2 10 oz. pkg. mochiko

1-1/4 cup sugar

1 cup water plus syrup from yam

  1. Mash yam in bowl.

  2. Add other ingredients.

  3. Form patties.

  4. Fry in 1/4 inch of oil; brown both sides of patty.
