Apple Crisp

 

4 c. peeled and sliced tart apples

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 c. sugar

1/4 c. water

Topping:

1/3 c. butter

3/4 c. flour

3/4 c. sugar

Combine first ingredients and place in shallow casserole or deep pie plate. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake in a 350 F. over for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve plain or with ice cream.
