MEAT SPREADS

LIVER

  • 1 cup liverwurst, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

  • 1 cup chopped broiled liver, 4 slices chopped broiled bacon, 1 table­spoon chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard, 2 tablespoons catchup, 1/3 teaspoon salt, dash cayenne, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.

CHICKEN

  • 3/4 cup minced cooked chicken, 1/3 cup crushed pineapple, 3 table­spoons mayonnaise.

  • 1 cup finely chopped chicken and giblets, 1/2 cup chopped toasted almonds, 1 teaspoon grated onion, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 cup mayonnaise.

  • 1 cup mashed cooked chicken livers, 2 tablespoons minced cooked bacon, 4 drops Tabasco sauce, 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

HAM

  • 1 cup minced boiled ham, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon mace, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 4 tablespoons cream.

  • 1/2 cup minced cooked ham, 1/2 cup chutney.

  • 1 cup ground boiled ham, 1/2 cup pepper relish.

  • 3/4 cup deviled ham, 1 chopped hard-cooked egg, 1 tablespoon mayon­naise, 1 tablespoon chili sauce.

  • 1 cup ground ham, vinegar or pickle juice to moisten, 4 teaspoons peanut butter, salt, pepper, celery salt.
