Tofu Tempura

1 tofu (press out excess water)

1 tsp. cornstarch

1/4 c. cooked shrimp, chopped fine

1/2 c. carrots, chopped fine

1/3 c. string beans

1/3 c. gobo

2 tbsp. sugar

1-1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. ajinomoto

3 eggs, beaten

Put tofu in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly; drop by spoonful in deep fat.
