Steamed Green Breadfruit

 

1/2 green breadfruit, peeled and diced

2 cups boiling water

3 tbsp. butter or margarine

3/4 tsp. salt

dash of pepper

Add water to breadfruit and cook 1 hour. Drain and season with butter, salt and pepper. Serve as a starchy vegetables.
