Chocolate Sundae Pudding

 

1 cup flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

2 T. chocolate

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk

2 T. melted butter

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup chopped nuts

Topping:

3/4 cup white sugar

3 T. chocolate

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup boiling water

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, chocolate and sugar. Add milk, melted butter and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Add nuts.

Pour into 5-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches.

Make topping by combining sugar, chocolate, salt and vanilla. Spread over pudding, evenly. Pour boiling water over this. Do not stir.

Bake in preheated oven, 350 F. for about 50 - 55 minutes. Serve warm.
