Honey Macadamia Nut Bread

 

1 c. milk

1 c. honey

1/2 c. sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 c. nuts, chopped

1/4 c. butter

2 eggs yolks

2-1/2 c. sifted flour

1 tsp. salt

Scald milk, add honey and sugar and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Beat in butter and egg yolks. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into batter. Beat well. Add nuts and pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Cool for 10 minutes. Turn out on rack.
