Custard Pie
4 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2-2/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
9-inch unbaked pie shell
Preheat electric oven to 450 F. Beat eggs slightly; stir in sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk, and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 20 minutes; reduce heat to 350 F and bake for 15 more minutes or until a knife inserted in center of the pie comes out clean. Makes 8 servings.
