Chicken Soup
Vegetables that could be added to soup:
Diced green papayas
Marungay leaves
Bittermelon leaves or fruit
Chili pepper shoots and tender leaves
Bitter melon and egg plant
Bamboo shoots
Fern shoots
1 stewing chicken or fryer (cut up in small pieces)
1 thumbsize ginger, mashed
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. bagoong (optional)
MSG
4-5 cups water
Pan fry chicken pieces with salt and ginger for 10 minutes. Add four cups water and boil till chicken is tender. Add more water if needed. Add bagoong, salt, MSG to taste. Add the vegetable of your choice and cook till done.
