Pake Pupu (Chinese)

50 bread triangles

1/2 lb. ground pork

4 shrimp, chopped

2 tbsp. chopped green onion

8 water chestnuts, chopped

1/2 tsp. grated ginger

1 tbsp. shoyu

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cornstarch

1 tsp. sherry

1/2 tsp. oyster sauce, if desired

Toast bread on one side. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread pork mixture on untoasted bread side. Broil 4 inches from flame for 5-6 minutes. Makes 50 Pake Pupu. Garnish with a sprig of Chinese parsley.
