COFFEE CAKE #1

Topping:

3 tbsp. margarine                                       

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped nuts

Combine all above ingredients and set aside.

Batter:

1/3 cup margarine

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup milk

1-1/2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

Mix batter like in cake, (cream margarine, add sugar until well blend­ed, add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients with milk). Sprinkle topping over batter as evenly as possible and pour into 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
