Broiled Paltat
Paltat: Catfish in Ilocano
1 large paltat
Salt to taste
Directions:
Clean paltat and dry with a paper towel.
Make two small slits on the skin on both sides of the fish.
Sprinkle salt all over the fish moderately.
Broil on hot charcoal or in broiler until brown on both sides.
Serve with hot rice with sauce.
Fish Sauce:
Juice of one large lemon
1 tbsp. patis or bagoong sauce
