Tempura Dough Pupus
2 lbs. tempura dough (raw fish cake mix)
1 lb. ground pork
1 tbsp. shoyu
Dash of MSG
1 6-oz. can water chestnuts
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. five spices
Fry pork until done, seasoning with shoyu and MSG during frying. Mix with remaining ingredients, form into balls and deep fry. This basic recipe can be varied by adding ham or fresh shrimp or rolling in egg and crumbs.
